Unit: Career Explorations Students will understand that: Knowledge translates into a form of power. There are different ways to measure success. Their choice have immediate and potentially long-lasting effects on their life.	Unit: Career Explorations Essential Questions... How does knowledge translate into a form of power? How do you measure success? How do my choices affect my life?
1. English (Cassie): Students will understand that propaganda is a descriptive means of persuasion through written or visual means, and can affect public opinion.	1. English (Cassie): What is propaganda, and how can it be used to the advantage of the user?
2. English (Court): Students will understand that the written word and images can aid in depicting what is being described and persuade them of a certain view.	2. English (Court): How can the written word and images help a reader to depict what is being described and persuade them of a certain view?
3. English (Steph): Students will understand that English comes in many forms (writing, reading, speaking, and listening) and that all of these are necessary in order to be successful, especially in the field of psychology.	3.
